The shortlist for the Regional Press Awards 2022 was revealed today, with Iliffe Media proud to secure 13 nominations.

The prestigious awards recognise the very best in regional media and will culminate at a ceremony to be held in London.

Iliffe Media's already award winning website KentOnline.co.uk has been shortlisted in the News Brand of the Year (Large) category and is also up for News Website of the Year, while the Cambridge Independent, Kentish Gazette and Kent Messenger, all previous award winners, are shortlisted in the News Brand of the Year (Small) category.

The Cambridge Independent's Keith Heppell and the Stratford Herald's Mark Williamson are both nominated in the Photographer of the Year category, while Iliffe Media dominates the Reporter of the Year - Weekly shortlist, Gill Sutherland from the Stratford Herald, KentOnline's Lydia Chantler-Hicks, Cambridge Independent's Gemma Gardner and Paul Derrick from our Bury Free Press and Suffolk News brands all in contention.

The Cambridge Independent features twice more in the shortlist, Mark Taylor in the Sports Journalist of the Year category and Paul Kirkley in the Columnist of the Year bracket.

The winners will be announced at the awards night on March 8, 2023.
